Hi, my name is Nick Boucher and have just completed a full stack web development boot camp. I am now looking for a position that will allow me to broaden my knowledge base while fine tuning it into a more specific area. Over the past couple of years I have been searching for something that piques my interest and challenges me in a way that nothing else has. I believe I have found just what I was looking for in web development. I work great with teams and am always looking for new innovative ways to solve problems. I have always had a strong passion for technology which, I believe, will help me excel in a new web development career. I have worked with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, React Native, and NodeJS.I am very excited to see where this new chapter will lead and look forward to connecting with you!

Leasing ProfessionalThe Inland Real Estate Group Of Companies, Inc. Jan 2018 - Jan 2021Broomfield, Colorado, United StatesIn my three years with Inland I worked at three of their properties. The first property, located in Westminster Colorado, had over 200 apartment homes and I helped get this property to 100% occupancy. The next property I transferred to when it was purchased so I could help train the new people that were staying at the property after the acquisition. This property was located in Lakewood Colorado and had over 400 apartment homes. The last property was located in Broomfield Colorado and had over 300 apartment homes.Daily, I would juggle many different tasks. My main task was to guide potential residents through the application process and make them feel comfortable with the decision to call my community home. This would include touring them around the property, answering any and all questions in a clear concise way, processing their applications, verifying the information contained in the applications, preparing the lease document, making sure all documents were completed by move in, and ensuring the apartment they had rented would be ready for them. To ensure this I would help schedule vendors, follow up with my maintenance team, and personally walk the apartment a few times before the move in date. Additionally, I would complete market surveys by calling and emailing other properties to obtain their weekly numbers, run and analyze many different reports, answer phone calls and prospect emails, coordinate resident/ leasing events, hold/ participate in meetings and trainings, schedule maintenance appointments, follow up with residents after maintenance items were completed, and work fluently in this fast-paced team oriented environment. The programs I worked with were Yard/ CRM, Yieldstar, RentCafé, Bluemoon and TransUnion Credit Screening. I also used Craigslist, YouTube, and Facebook daily to list available apartments and promote our community and events. -
Lighting Controls SpecialistWestview Productions Llc Jul 2016 - Jul 2018Arvada, Colorado, United StatesAt Westview Productions I was a Lighting Control Specialist. I would travel locally around Colorado and all over the United States commissioning lighting control systems (EMS). I worked with Encelium extensively, Douglas Lighting Control Systems, along with a few others occasionally. If the job was done in house, I would manage, oversee, and train the subcontractors on the installation process. I would also work directly with the IT departments for the client as these systems had networked components. Occasionally, I would help with the design. If we were subcontracted to commission the systems after the install was completed, I would work with the electricians to verify the install was correct and was done to the spec of the blueprints and wiring diagrams. Once this was complete, I would fully program and commission the system to ensure the I/O modules, relay panels, occupancy sensors, dimmers, switches, and daylight switching/ harvesting components functioned as intended and were networked properly. Then, I would work with the client to fine tune the system and ensure their happiness with their investment. I would then host a training for the client and show them how the system works, how to make changes, and how to troubleshoot problems.Once the jobs were completed, I would support the installs by phone or travel if needed. If the system was older, I would perform system updates to the server and software. -
Commissioning Manager/ Project AssistantAmerican Energy Care (Aec) And Aec Solar Jun 2012 - Apr 2016Albany, New York, United StatesAt American Energy Care (ESCO) I was originally hired on to complete AutoCAD drawings but within a couple of years, I was heading the Encelium branch of the company. I would travel locally around NYS auditing, designing, implementing, commissioning, and supporting lighting control systems (EMS). I would go to sites and complete exhaustive energy audits and enter this information into our Excel spreadsheet which would show a payback. After this was presented tot he client, I would design the controls scheme using Bluebeam and AutoCAD. From this, I would create a bill of materials, place the order, and ensure the order was correct upon delivery to the office or site. I would then hold a training for the onsite electricians making sure they understand the components, drawings, and end goal. I would also meet with the IT team onsite to discuss adding our networked components to their network. I was the first point of contact for the installers. Once they completed the install, I would head to site to verify the install and complete the commissioning process. After this was completed, I would then monitor the reporting software for a couple of weeks to ensure everything was working properly and make any adjustments necessary. Then I would hold an in person training for any onsite staff that would be interacting with the lighting software. This would detail any troubleshooting steps and normal day to day interactions.Additionally, I managed a small team, compiled and submitted the lighting and control upgrade rebates with the state and local utility providers, handled maintenance and warranty issues, ran system upgrades on existing servers, and always strove to ensure my clients were overly satisfied with their investments.
