Biochemist | Molecular Biologist I am currently pursuing my PhD at Oregon State University where I study the fascinating dynamics of host-parasitoid interactions with a focus on venom protein biochemistry. My academic research journey began during my Master's degree in Biotechnology at Illinois State University where I specialized in work on hyperthermophilic organisms, developing expertise in molecular cloning, protein purification, and radioenzymatic assays.At Oregon State, I am deepening my skills in dissections, nanoparticle analyses, confocal microscopy and the biochemical assessment of venom proteins and their interactions with host cells. I am focused on unraveling the complexities of these biological systems and learning cutting-edge techniques to assess the molecular processes at play in host-parasitoid interactions.
