I am currently working full time as a Mechanical Maintenance technician on a COMAH site having come from a top tier. I have completed my apprenticeship at TTE doing Mechanical Engineering earning the certificate of Advanced Mechanical Engineering level 3. I am the sole Mechanical tradesman for a whole site and taking on a lot of responsibility by managing and organising the maintenance that happens on the site, looking after the stores, dealing with emergency break downs that effect the production and prioritising that with the routine and planned maintenance, meeting targets, doing all the aspects of mechanical work, doing the majority of pneumatics, fault finding and doing remedial electrical work, getting in touch with suppliers.
