I worked as a race mechanic for much of the 2014 V de V Endurance season running a Juno CN 2011 sports prototype vehicle with TFL racing. The work involved maintaining the vehicle throughout race weekends at circuits across Europe. This job followed on from my time at Juno Racing Cars where I also worked closely with the TFL team.

• Working at Juno Racing Cars I was involved with a variety of projects, the main one being a project to develop a prototype road car aimed at young drivers. My key areas of work on this project were:
• Design of a complete prototype chassis in SolidWorks with emphasis on low cost manufacture and ease of assembly.
• Design of the suspension and steering geometry using SolidWorks for kinematics simulations and Excel for collecting and comparing data.
• Design of the braking system for the vehicle and specify appropriate components. Other areas of work included CAD work for Sports Prototype race cars, building cars and offering track support to existing customers..
