Role and ResponsibilitiesOperations First Line Manager 2011- 2015, 2015- present at custom powders.• To Lead, motivate, plan and co-ordinate the activities of the Operations Team with in the production and warehouse departments to provide and efficient and effective team ensuring the production plan is achieved at a minimum cost by maximizing line and labour utilisation to ensure finished product supply is always available to meet customer orders. • To support the scheduling for all customer demand to achieve maximum throughput and efficiency at the lowest cost. • Manage the raw material and finished product stock in all areas of responsibility to ensure stock rotation, age, and consumption is managed correctly. • To liaise with the customer services team, ensuring all orders are completed in time, hitting targets of 85-100% per week • Ensure all staff are fully trained in their area of responsibility, and that training is reviewed on a regular basis. • Monitor and manage efficiency and productivity to ensure bottlenecks are managed and through put standards achieved, pushing OEE daily to hit the target that’s been set, if not find out why and address the issues.• Daily Planning and scheduling on all production for 4 different plants. To ensure that all order’s are completed on time in full.• Ensure Health and Safety management processes are completed to continually raise team standards. • Day to Day running of two factories, dealing with staff issues, product issues, breakdowns, hitting targets that are set, Ambient and FMCG. • Signing off Holidays and sick days, recording accident statistics on Airs web• Haccp Reviews and changes that need to be made to the plan, reviewing with the team. • Health And Safety Committee, ensuring all actions is up date and recorded, daily walk rounds looking at any H & S issues, Near Misses, Star Observations.
