Offered an opportunity to challenge myself in a role I had no experience of. So glad I pushed myself as have had an amazing time learning how to cater for up to 90 children 5 times a day! This role gave me weekends off, less hours and more money than my previous employer could offer. Now looking to get back to a sales day job which I miss.

Customer facing and telesales role for unique Surrey based Powertool supplier. Duties includes new business development and in house marketing as well as day to day sales to account customers and passing trade. We have to be up to date with all the latest news with tool development and take great pride in the level of service that we offer to our customers.

Internal Sales Nov 2011 My sales role saw me dealing with incoming customer enquiries, creating quotes and arranging artworks. My duties involved organising new accounts for new customers, looking after our existing customer data base and ensuring the highest quality service is being provided. Arranging quotes from architects drawings to win tenders. Rolling out projects and managing customer's expectations by liaising with our production and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery. Sending out the latest literature to customers and ensuring all current legislation is being adhered to. Arranging facility visits for clients so they can see what we do and how we do it.

I worked as a fabricator and really enjoyed all aspects of my role as it's varied and interesting. I used a full range of workshop tools to create frames, form plastics, engrave various materials including plastics and metals. I work from technical drawings and help design structures that are exclusive to Stocksigns. I have worked on many projects for Gatwick Airport and the Rail Networks which include working versions of prototypes I created.

This role involved renovating, servicing, repairing and improving traditional Sash windows. The work was varied and included surveying and managing the customers expectations on site to the highest standards. An incredibly interesting and satisfying role which involved taking, often sealed windows , back to a fully working and well balance state while draft proofing to modern expectation.

The job involved reading technical drawings, preparing, cutting and machining various metals. Skills learnt on the job were welding, polishing, grinding, drilling, milling, cutting, forming, embossing, punching and engraving.

Founding resourcer helping create a new business from scratch)Duties initially involved calling IT candidates to create a new database to work from. Operating large plant equipment to assist with the installation of portakabin size telecommunication junction boxes (REB's). Duties included operating machines to clear and level off site, use dumpers to move any excess soil to other end of the sites ready for collection by the muck away lorries, using ride on rollers to level off the hardcore delivered to create stable access roads for the articulated vehicles that would ultimately turn up to deliver the REB's. Qualifications held were full licenses for all plant equipment stated above as well as ticket for a petrol disc cutter as well as my PTS qualification to work in and around railway lines.
