I am a Virginia Tech graduate, with a degree in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics and a minor in Economics. I am passionate about data science and am seeking a job where I can solve complex problems and challenges using data science to improve people's lives. I worked with a diverse team and a client to create a dashboard that estimates the number of lives that could be saved by driver assistance systems in the future. I have experience with mathematical modeling; collecting, manipulating, accessing, storing standard-size and large data sets; data visualization; and identifying sources of bias using multiple programming languages. I am well-versed with scientific computing and parallel programming concepts, stochastic simulation techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
