I have been able to work with start-up that are PE backed and mature companies in various industries on the following projects: IPO execution services, audit readiness, acquisitions, financial reporting requirements, revenue recognition, stock compensation, debt agreements, and accounting standards implementation.

• Assisted and developed various accounting polices related to capitalization of property plant and equipment costs, and stock compensation. • Provided technical analysis for various leases entered into by the company by applying ASC 842 and developing a presentation to CFO to discuss the accounting impact of various scenarios. • Worked with various departments such as finance, external counsel and investor relations to develop 10-K filling timeline.

• Provided assurance services to SEC and private clients; clients spanned the industries of public utilities, renewables, insurance, biotech, and manufacturing.• Led an audit team for a startup company that filed initial S-1 documents and subsequent amendments. Gained expertise in complex accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements for initial registrants. • Directed engagement teams in developing digital solutions related to project management and substantive testing, leading to improved efficiencies utilizing visualization and automation tools (UiPath, Tableau, and Alteryx). Our team’s contributions led to improved efficiencies of standard processes that will be scaled across the sector.• Conducted SOX testing and provided recommendations on processes improvements to various clients’ SOX programs.

I was responsible for cleaning and cooking french fries for guests. This job also brought me into a community of teammates I'd never have met otherwise. Working alongside some of the hardest-working folks I've ever encountered was both humbling and enlightening. It was an adventure that showed me the ropes of the workplace and gave me a newfound appreciation for a double-double, animal style, with a twist of ketchup and mustard.
