Nick has been working as an environmental/geotechnical consultant for 35 years, 21 years of these with Golder Associates (now WSP) in Nottingham where he was a Principal, and is now practicing as an independent environmental/geotechnical consultant. Nick has extensive experience in site investigation across all sectors. Many projects have involved undertaking site investigations on landfill sites and other projects have comprised desk studies and intrusive site investigations on other types of sites for various developments. The many waste management projects undertaken included landfill design and engineering, C&D waste treatment, healthcare waste treatment, waste strategy, waste treatment technologies and M&A due diligence (waste sector, technical and environmental). Nick has been the author and presented papers at many conferences in the UK and internationally.Projects have been across the UK and internationally, including UK, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, India, Mexico, South America and Africa.
