Worked in the Permian Resources business unit focused in three areas throughout Texas and New Mexico. I analyzed horizontal wells in Boresight and created facies maps to better determine where the exact target is and how it changes with dip, etc. The purpose of the project was to optimize geosteering of these horizontals in the future so that more time is.

Worked in the Barilla Draw located in West Texas and correlated wells there with other producing regions. Tried to determine the potential in the Delaware mountain group. I used well logs to correlate, create surface and isopach maps to help interpret the region. I also incorporated mud log data into my project to evaluate the potential in certain.

Current activities include soil carbon analysis, light fraction tests, and density separations. Currently working on my undergraduate thesis project which uses normal alkanes (n-alkanes) along with Stable Isotope values in soils and roots from a modern Vertisol in a Forest to Grassland transition and using the data to create a Paleovegetation.

I am a geology student graduating this May with aspirations on continuing my education at the graduate level and then continuing on into a career with oil and gas.
