Working in the procurement department I created strategic supplier relationships, negotiated contracts for raw materials and packaging seeking to increase group wide purchasing policies to increase purchasing power and reduce cost.

For ten years I was Planning, Purchasing and Logistics Manager responsible for a teamof 32 staff in our production facility operating 24/7, producing 5-600 tonnes per week,customer services, warehousing and a packaging operation working 24 hrs a day five daysper week. Our warehousing had 3500 pallet spaces, keeping an average 4-6 week stock forArden Grange and 2-3 weeks for Pets at Home. Working with a tight on time/in full shortagetarget.● Over achieved shortage target, running at 98%+, improved from 85%.
