Sales and solution engineering specifically focused on Tait's New Zealand market. Supporting our national network of dealers and integrators as they adopt new mobile communication technologies and platforms. With large investments of time and money in existing communication platforms such as narrowband LMR, the integration of broadband and satellite must be carefully managed to allow new applications and solution opportunities to be introduced. The role has deepened my understanding of the flow of market information from customers through the company to creating a solution.

Joined a team bringing a new product to market consisting of hardware platform, apps, and cloud management ofusers and devices.Role focused on preparing for early customer trials, including developing a test plan and organizing internal trials.Worked with the prototypes and the intended use cases to identify bugs and usability issues.Developed a good working relationship with the engineering teams and product manager to work through issues andprioritize bugs in an Agile project management environment.Used the hands on testing and customer case studies to provide input into the UI/UX design.Helped prioritize the feature roadmap to create a Minimum Viable Product for the trials.

Took on responsibility for adopting a 3rd party application development platform within the company.Worked with Product Management and sales teams to develop new demo applications for customers, tailoring applications for different markets. Developed training material to help regional sales and support teams get up to speed on the new platform. Delivered several hands-on training sessions to Tait teams and dealers around the world. Provided troubleshooting and bug finding support at a technical level for Tait's customers and sales staff. Presented the platform to partners, dealers and customers many times including at the IWCE 2019 and BAPCO 2019 tradeshows. Helped develop product roadmaps and licensing structures based on market requirements.
