I provide strategic IT consulting to clients in the energy industry. My current focus is on infrastructure and application architecture within the context of application migration. I work with our team to identify and orchestrate the right migration solutions to fit the application architecture and the containing environment(s). Most recently I have served as lead analyst for the migration of over 100 business applications for one of the nation's largest energy producers. • I worked with infrastructure engineering teams to develop migration patterns that informed overall approaches to migration. • I performed data analysis of application components through custom database queries of CMDB data and rolled that into management reports that informed the planning for the overall application migration program. • I led preparation and planning for complex migrations that involved the physical moves of hardware between datacenters and detailed coordination with vendors and internal IT and business teams. • I orchestrated large-scale migrations over the course of two months that involved the continuous evaluation of dependencies, availability of resources and adjustments to schedule based on business conditions. • I co-led the domain migrations of critical operational technology (OT) systems that involved a rigorous testing and validation process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
