Originally from Jersey, I read law at The University of Exeter before qualifying as a solicitor in March 2008 at Ashfords LLP, a prominent south west firm. I specialise in non-contentious property work and joined Tozers’ private client team in June 2010. I was promoted to an associate in early 2012 and to partner in July 2013. Since qualifying, I have acted for private individuals, property developers and housing associations in a range of residential and commercial transactions. These include site acquisitions, commercial lettings, lease enfranchisement and residential sales and purchases. I am also able to draw upon considerable property litigation experience, which is a significant advantage in my area of specialism. I worked as a commercial property solicitor in the firm’s Exeter office, having completed a training contract with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in March 2008. Prior to commencing my training contract in 2006, I worked as a paralegal in Ashfords’ residential property department. My time with the firm after qualifying included an eight month period working in Ashfords’ Bristol office.
