I am passionate about science, and I help companies progress from discovery through clinical stages by synthesizing both simple and complex targets. I look forward to continuing my growth in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.I have strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, solid-phase peptide synthesis, chemical biology, analytical chemistry, and chemical engineering. With my diverse skillset, I have been able to engage multidisciplinary groups (such as QA, QC, Analytical, manufacturing, and supervisors) to complete projects and achieve organization goals.I have had the opportunity to train under multiple SMEs in process scale up, API manufacture, and cGMP production. With all that I have learned in academia and industry, I have had the opportunity to train and mentor scientists of all levels.I have developed expertise in using and analyzing instruments such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR (1D and 2D), flash chromatography. I have been responsible for HPLC repair, method development, and method transfer. I completed Advion's mass spectrometry training course where I learned to maintain and properly operate the Advion single quad mass spectrometer. I have experience using Hf calorimetry, TSU, UV-Vis, DSC, and TGA. I have successfully developed processes for cGMP campaigns that were successfully transferred to the pilot plant. I have operated and succeeded as a lead chemist in both the kilo laboratory and pilot plant.I am dedicated to my work, and I do what is necessary to successfully complete the job.
