I'm a former US Marine who has always had a passion for working with my mind and staying as active as possible. While I was in the service, I was stationed in Japan, Korea, and San Diego and having these travel experiences left a big mark on me and left me with the ever common travel bug, leading me to want to visit as many countries and experience as many cultures as I can as we only have one life to live and the last thing I want to do is waste it staying in the same town I grew up in. Currently, I am building up my portfolio of programming projects with the goal of being hired on soon as a full time Software Engineer. The path towards this goal has been easily the hardest one I have ever followed as learning a new skill, that's supremely difficult while also on your own is both exhausting and unbelievably rewarding. I currently know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript however I am getting brushed up on the React framework and the Node runtime environment. I love what I have and am learning and meeting everyone I can, as I am a bit of a talker and enjoy really having in depth conversations about the tech scene and the world around us. I am a big nerd and as such have 3 separate 3D printers that I have used to build everything from a cutaway and functional jet engine, as well as a puzzle that is regarded as one of the hardest to solve (Excalibur). I also solve Rubik's Cubes for fun and have the 1x1 all the way up to the 10x10 as current solves with my current 3x3 record at 33.45 seconds. I do bodybuilding recreationally as of now, however I would love to compete one day, as I cannot explain the feeling of seeing hard work pay off in a literal, and metaphorical sense. I have been doing it for over 10 years, and look forward to doing it as long as possible.I am a believer in honesty and respect. I also believe it goes two ways, and I will not disrespect anyone intentionally and LOVE to help people in need. I grew up in poverty and completely understand the feeling of needing help and not having it.
