As the primary Systems Administrator for Market Makers I am responsible for the day to day maintenance of our multi-office infrastructure and acting as a final point of escalation for all desktop support issues. I have also taken the lead role in planning and implementing the infrastructure to support the rapid growth of the business as we have expanded from a single UK site to multiple sites in both the UK and USA.Successfully Implemented projects include: Deployment and migration to a two node Exchange 2019 cluster. Deployment of Office 365 in a Hybrid configuration. Migrating key LoB MS SQL 2008 server to a 3 node, 2 site MS SQL 2019 Always On Availability Group cluster. Design and Deployment of Microsoft System Center to manage Application, OS updates and deployment across all our sites. Acting as Technical Stakeholder during the planning and deployment of a Mitel clustered phone system. Replacing End of Life Cisco ASA Firewalls with modern Sonicwall UTM devices. Replacing an aging Symantec Backup Exec tape based system with a modern Unitrends cross site disk replication solution.

As a Systems Analyst for InterRegs my primary responsibility was maintaining the Windows based servers that were used both internally and by a sister company that has offices worldwide. I was also responsible for handling advanced desktop support cases and lead a rollout of Microsoft’s Hyper-V Virtualization platform.

Supporting Cobwebs Hosted Exchange, Sharepoint and SaaS customers.

Maintaining the internal IT systems that were used to manage all applications and residency for the Halls of Residence on campus.
