• • Champion quality tools within the business with specific responsibility for reviewing and helping in the implementation of new products.• Complete control plans, set customer standards, provide capability data, draft design and production validation plans, and agrees team feasibility at each stage of new product development cycle using APQP.• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and product non-conformities using 8D, this will include direct customer contact.• Support production activities for existing products to ensure the business complies with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.• Understand and define customer quality requirements and drive these through to point of manufacture by setting quality standards. Providing support to customers by dealing with quality problems.• Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports, close out audit findings and determine corrective actions.• Carry out measurement systems analysis (MSA).• Collate KPIs and including improvement plans.• Control agreed departmental projects. Provide product and or process improvement studies, including the provision of process data.• Monitor and analyse product failures to identify trends and promptly action resolution.• Maintain of good relationships with internal and external contacts and ensure clear and timely communication.• To manage customers and provide direct support for quality concerns, customer complaints and general inquiries.Technologies: {VBA, MS Excel, Lean Sigma}
