Program Supplier Quality Engineer currently supporting the AMRAAM Program. Previously, supported two Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Programs, the AN-TPY2 Radar and the SM-3 Family of Interceptors. •Ensure customer/program requirements are flown down to suppliers.•Build and maintain internal and external customers’ relationships to include fulfillment of supplier quality related inquiries. Collaborate with other quality functions, supply chain and engineering to affect rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills.•Primary Quality interface between the programs supported, the supply base and the Fielded Supplier Quality Engineers (FSQE). Implemented a new Task Order to take over the expeditionary construction and engineering technical services (Design & Construction) from the USAF. Managed three functional areas, Engineering, Logistics and Vehicle/Construction Machinery Assets Management & Maintenance with a total staff of 24 personnel. Managed the design activities and provided field construction support for USAF construction projects in CENTCOM’s Area of Operation. Contracted and managed A&E firms in support of our activities and was responsible for P&L performance of the Contract. Engineering Team consisted of 14 engineers (Architect, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical) and CAD Operators.

Project Manager, Foreign Military Sales (FMS); Balad, Iraq•Provided Client (USG/USAF) on-site contractor oversight in support of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program and the F-16 bed-down Project in Balad, Iraq. •Monitored the performance of a number of contractors over a multi-discipline infrastructure and capital engineering projects to include Construction, Base Life Support and Security.•Accomplished the tasks by conducting a surveillance and a quality assurance plan. •Interfaced as a point of contact with the Government of Iraq local Military Leadership and the various US Government Agencies. •Assisted in the development of design requirements and in the planning stages for facility renovations and construction projects. •Assisted in coordinating the development of construction work plans, facility renovation, and new construction. Assisted in the development of “Request for Proposals” (RFP’s). •Interfaced with the stakeholders to help establish and to implement the Base Security Plan.•Performed operations and maintenance (O&M) oversight to ensure compliance with specifications and Statement of Work. Systems monitored and inspected were aviation/airport type of facilities, structures and systems such as Runways (Asphalt & Concrete), Runway Lighting, Navigational Aids, a Control Tower and Hangars along with Base Support Systems. •Inspected /surveyed facilities to identify deficiencies for incorporation into the infrastructure maintenance plan.

Mechanical Construction Project Manager; New US Embassy Compound Malabo, Equatorial Guinea•Acted as the Department of State’s Office of Building Operations (OBO) onsite Mechanical Engineering representative and provided field mechanical engineering expertise in conjunction with the construction of the New Embassy Compound. •Provided technical guidance to the contractor and insured that the project is constructed per the contract documents and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications. •Monitored quality control issues and installation procedures and signed off on all testing activities. •Attended weekly Quality Control and construction progress meetings, inspected and signed off on all deficiencies.•Reviewed and signed off on the construction progress invoices for accuracy for the mechanical portion of the project. •Inspected all Mechanical construction activities on a daily basis to ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications and kept a daily log. •Reviewed and responded to contractor Request for Information (RFI’s), Material Submittals and recommended for approval. Reviewed and assisted in approving REA’s (Change Orders) including preparation of cost estimates and Statements of Work (SOW’s).

Project Manager/Special Engineering Advisor. Balad Joint Air Base, Iraq•Provided Engineering, Technical and Cultural expertise to a US Air Force's Project Management team in charge of transitioning the Balad Air Base to the Iraqi Air Force.•Assisted in the development and implementation of plans to enable the Iraqi Air Force officials to be effective and efficient in leading their organizations and in managing the future needs of their Basic Life Support and Base Operating Systems. •Assisted in the planning and managed the facilities turnover process and interfaced with the local IqAF Leadership to close out the environmental issues. •Worked on a Team that advised, trained, and assisted the Iraqi Air Force & Ministry of Defense (MoD) Staff, devised technical training (Power Plant, Generators, Vehicles, HVAC, Water Purification) programs for Iraqi Air Force Staff and coordinated/resolved facility issues with the Logistics Wing Commander. •Interfaced and coordinated project efforts with the Civil Engineering Squadron and the Environmental Compliance Group at the Balad Air Base.•Managed assigned projects and interfaced with Iraqi local contractors.
