I started this company because I was working as an operations manager and the owner did not value the lifetime relationships with customers. He just wanted to get the check and move on. He didn’t care about how customers felt. None of his employees felt special and I was extremely frustrated. He was saying some insane things and I was fed up.My hands were tied. Zero structure to the business.He would just say “Do the work, get paid and move on to the next” So I decided to move on….. even though he fired me after that. I honored my non-compete and then started off in 2007 with 20 McDonald's cleaning their windows. It was a grind from day one. I would begin at 4 am, worked a part-time job at a carpet company, and then worked at night to finish the jobs.I learned business is not for everyone. In order, to quit my part-time, I would have to hustle and hire someone. I grew the company to 25 employees.I now have an operation manager and he is in charge of making the technicians happy. I value the lifetime relationships with customers. In fact, on average our customers have been with our company since the beginning. My employees matter and I am constantly asking how we can support them.I won Young Entrepreneur for the year nationally. Our company won Best Service Provider in Wisconsin two years ago. I am obsessed with clean windows and gutters, house washing and buildings, and snow removal. I love seeing before and after photos even better than when people lose weight.I would love to connect with property managers and franchise owners in Wisconsin.
