Member of a team of installers that primarily focused on commercial security installations, access control, and video. Followed guidelines dictated by current industry standards responsibilities included, but not limited to, seeing projects through from start to finish from the planning of initial cable runs, installing and configuring of equipment out in the field, and customer training after installation completed. Work included use of multiple/different platforms of equipment including test sets for various cameras and cable testing (including low voltage), computer preparation for the servers and IP cameras being deployed, and use of a wide range of hand tools required to complete the job.

Field Technician responsibilities included installing phone lines and DSL connections to residential and commercial buildings; troubleshot existing DSL and phone lines and repaired if necessary; checked Central Office equipment remotely for existing and new internet lines; wired new and existing locations to customers’ specifications for phone and network. When in the office, assisted with computer support and repair.

Support all employees of Wells Fargo Financial division with password, network and computer equipment issues. Responsibilities range from password resets to troubleshooting software and equipment failure over the phone. First line of contact for related issues and supported users or escalated issues as necessary. Familiar with all Wells Fargo Financial programs used by branches and collection centers.

Assisted with the physical equipment inventory of all of Principal Financial Group's assets. Including computers, monitors, faxes and printers. Worked with programs such as Asset Center and Microsoft Access.

Employed part-time in the school district’s ITT Department. Duties included computer hardware repair as well as performing maintenance and upgrades to the district’s 900 computers. Provided technical support for both Windows & Apple operating systems. Other duties included installing new phone and data lines and troubleshooting existing lines.

Worked with technicians on installation and setup of PBX systems. Installed cat5/6 cable in businesses, including line additions. Also worked with CCTV camera installations.
