Currently working as the Director of Makerspaces, which include the Upper School Fab Lab, Media Lab, and Woodshop, along with the Lower School Innovation Lab and Computational Thinking and Design classroom. In addition to teaching Design and Prototyping classes, my primary role is to enhance project-based learning experiences for students and teachers throughout the Hawken community. Initiated the Fab Play-Maker Educators Institute - The Fab Play-Maker Educators Institute is an annual gathering of like-minded creative spirits that just happen to work in education! During this transformative week, we elevate one another’s crafts, hone our skillsets, immerse ourselves in hands-on experiential learning experiences, prototype new ideas, practice new machining techniques, connect as a network, share our challenges and best practices, and celebrate our efforts from this past school year.

Coordinated the growth and development of a new PreK-8 STEM School network consisting of five schools for the District. Focus on teacher development, project-based learning, integrated curriculum Capstones, STEM leadership development, and instructional rounds. Facilitated teacher professional development planning sessions, developed curriculum and instructional resources, and managed multiple partners and grants that supported the initiative.Initiated the BLUE Institute (Build, Lead, Utilize, Enguage), a district-wide professional development conference that had over 100 sessions. Coordinated all designs, print material, sponsorship, vendors, and certification tracks. Started the District-wide STEM Showcase and partnered with Rock Your World with STEAM at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Founding faculty member of Cleveland's first STEM high school, pioneering project-based and mastery-based learning approaches through a trans-disciplinary curriculum. Through strategic partnerships with GE Lighting headquarters, the Great Lakes Science Center, and Cleveland State University, we provided our students with invaluable real-world mentorship opportunities. Our efforts also led to establishing the school's groundbreaking Fab Lab, the first in a high school, and later, introducing a Mobile Fab Lab trailer across the district, ensuring equitable access to cutting-edge STEM education.
