I lead design for Jira's product growth group. This includes everything from contributing to the product strategy, roadmap and execution, to hiring, growth & development, design craft quality, and building a high-performing Org. Most people won’t get to work on something that is used by millions of people every day, and most software teams won’t create a piece of software used by 200,000 companies! The cross-functional org is responsible for landing new-to-new Jira customers and growing them into users of Atlassian's wider product suite.

I was employee #2 at Zeebox, and it was a challenge in pretty much every way imaginable. I learned startup science, the importance of insights over data, the difficulty in making an app available everywhere, and more about the back-end of the broadcast industry than anyone ever needs to.

Handling big budgets, wrangling with TV-types and creatives, learning the importance of a contract... SBS was never dull, and I loved the mission we were on and the work we did. Launches in my genres won an SXSWi, an AIMIA Award, a Webby Award, a W3 award, and two FWA Site of the Day's.
