Greenfield startup of a Just-in-time manufacturing plant including project planning, manufacturing layouts, equipment specification, time studies, training and customer run-at-rate. Utilizing lean manufacturing principals and lessons learned from previous launch experience.

Provide quality support for simultaneous multi-plant product launch. Coordinated product engineering, manufacturing and the customer to ensure compliance with program timing, APQP requirements, past lessons learned, and manufacturing best practices.

Worked with Division Quality Manager to establish and proliferate standard manufacturing best practices across 22 JIT UAW automotive seat assembly plants to meet corporate quality goals. Focusing on new product launches and including audits of all assembly operations for error proofing opportunities.

Participated in major product launch including process layout, line balancing, and data collection implementation for new seat safety system test equipment. Utilized.

Responsible for meeting production schedules, project targets and budget goals.Scheduled shop floor and all necessary resources. Managed seventeen operators and two maintenance people on two shifts.

Completed the transition of equipment and operations from Ohio to Tennessee. Including facility layout and production planning Managed one Engineer.

Maintain ISO-9002 Registered quality system. Perform Internal audits. Participate in semiannual external audits. Manage one assistant.

Helped quote new business and implement new products and processes from the design and quote of custom equipment through the customer approval. Supported ongoing production processes and equipment improvements.

Design and detail forming tool assemblies for ultra high speed and precision specialty stamping machines. Maintain BOM’s.

Setup and operated various machines for the manufacture of punches, die buttons, and aerospace tooling.
