This position oversaw Emergency Management Departments at Tufts Medical Center and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Along with emergency management, I led the administrative functions of Employee Health Services. The duties included operational performance, vendor management, fiscal oversight and management, workforce planning and people development, and the development and implementation of programs.

The Director of Emergency Management provides leadership, oversight, administrative, & planning support for the overall Emergency Management & disaster preparedness activities in all occupied areas of Tufts Medical Center. The Director of Emergency Management is responsible for developing, implementing & maintaining a comprehensive & collaborative Tufts Medical Center Emergency Operations Plan that is capable of responding to the full range (i.e., all hazards) of internal & external situations that could impact the institution’s environment of care & /or disrupt normal operations, including but not limited to clinical capacity situations, mass-casualty incidents, utility failures, internal incidents, natural disasters, terrorism attacks, municipal emergencies, planned events, disease outbreaks, radiation emergencies, & hazardous materials releases is compliant with current industry, national, regional, & local regulations, standards and guidelines for hospital emergency preparedness.

Assist in coordinating area-wide hospital preparedness and to serve as a resource for thepreparedness staff at the fourteen member hospitals.Responsibilities include:-Serve as a duty officer for all the hospitals for incidents which have a potential to impact the healthcare community- Provide updates and news on exercises and drills-Serve as a liaison in the Medical Intelligence Center for the hospitals to facilitate coordination and resource requestsAlong with being the Emergency Management Coordinator I also serve as the MADPH Region 4C Hospital coordinator which include representing 12 hospitals in Region 4C. Responsibilities include: -Verify and certify each hospital's Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (HVA), Emergency Operations Plan (EOP),Decontamination Plan, Evacuation/Shelter in Place Plan, a Fatality Management Plan-Develop and produce a Multi-Year Training and Exercise Plan (MYTEP)-Verify appreciate use of ASPR funds

Interned in the Office of Emergency Preparedness at multiple locations throughout metro Boston area. This included fast response units strategically located in the field for easy deployment. Along with inventory I was active in Emergency Preparedness drills which included confined space training and confined space rescue.

Started as a Team Member then was given the opportunity to run my own shift as Shift Coordinator. As a shift coordinator I was tasked with all store objectives which included but not limited too maintaining, scheduling and supervising twenty employees and the day to day functions in the store. The day to day functions included inventory of the store and the money which the store produced.
