European Work Process Application Center ManagerDow Chemical 1994 - 1996Midland, Michigan, Us• Responsible for both the implementation and day to day operational support of SAP and related Supply Chain and Record and Report systems in Europe.• Member of the Antwerp office management team representing Information Systems and leader of the Antwerp Office Safety Council.• Direct responsibility for 70 employees based in Antwerp, Belgium, functional responsibility for 20 focal points scattered around Europe.• Created a European SAP support organisation, in addition to the SAP implementation teams.• Worked extensively with SAP to maintain system performance while aggressively implementing European regions onto the system.• Played a lead role in the consolidation of the European datacenters from 2 (Valbonne and Antwerp) to 1 (Antwerp) and then later from Europe to North America.• During the last 6 months of the job, lead the implementation of the Dow/Accenture global Alliance into the Antwerp group. -

This strategy has proved very successful for DowElanco Europe and is still in place today.• Consolidated 5 European Order Entry transaction systems into the Dow Chemical European SAP Client.• Created a solid and stable I/T function for DowElanco Europe. -
