Responsible for the exercising of valves in the distribution system and making sure they are available for immediate use, often in high-stress, high-traffic setups. Required to locate and expose valves in asphalt or dirt via jackhammer, hydro flushing, or hand digging. Responsible for keeping record of which valves were exercised and important information about each valve (turns, ties, location, addition/removal from maps). Attention to detail is paramount for safety and efficiency.

Sampled the Distribution system in accordance with Title 22 Total Coliform Rule. Assisted creating the Sample Siting Plan and other sampling events: UCMR, Stage 2 (TTHM/HAA5), Lead & Copper Rule, customer complaints, and other sample studies.
