Worked as part of the HPHT team for 3 years on the West Epsilon during the batch drilling of 7 wells for Statoil. Ensured the safe drilling of HPHT wells through the implementation of HPHT procedures and the close monitoring of downhole conditions. Realtime monitoring using CFM and Roadmaps allowed us to quickly and accurately detect and predict problem scenarios and take the neccessary measures to avoid them.Troubleshooted equipment in a timely manner to avoid causing any downtime to the company.Carried out intensive QC on logs and EWR before builiding the final EWR package and submitting to the client.Spent 6 months on the West Elara drilling rig, offshore Bergen as HPHT Fingerprinter. Here my main focus was on documenting the nature of the well prior to drilling into a new HPHT section. Moved over to join the Borgland Dolphin team in May 2014 for a long term contract, drilling for a consortium of oil companies. Wells were drilled offshore Stavanger, Bergen & Kristiansund with one of these wells being a HPHT well for Suncor. Prior to drilling this well completed a 2 day HPHT training seminar held by Suncor at the Mearsk training centre in Stavanger

Worked up to a senior level on both onshore and offshore drilling rigs in Denmark and the UK sector. Monitored realtime oilfield operations and recorded,edited and presented the data to clients in the form of logs, ascii and las data.Represented BHI offshore on the John Shaw oil rig where 2 HPHT wells were drilled for Nexen and 1 for Total, both successful.Used BHI software to calculate hydraulics values for optimum drilling as well as swab and surge for tripping operations.Used Predict software to generate formation and fracture pressure curves during drilling. Completed 2 full onshore rig ups with BDF rig 28. Gained a sound understanding into the hook up of sensors and the computer network as well as calibration of sensors.Troubleshooting faulty equipment and sensors. Finding a means of fixing the faulty sensor or equipment in a timely manner so as operations can go on as planned and remain on schedule.Courses taken include: Formation Pressure Evaluation. Drilling Engineering, BHI Hardware Course.Logging Specialist (7 months)Collected and analysed rock cuttings under the microscope, upon cross correlation with the electric logs for identification of formation tops would produce a detailed and accurate Formation Evaluation Log.
