About Nick Eustance

I am an experienced exploration and development geoscientist, currently consulting through RISC Advisory, with a background in major operators. My work with RISC over the last 13 years has covered regional prospectivity studies through detailed development geology, to audit and certification of field reserves, and includes significant unconventional hydrocarbon expertise in both shale gas and coal bed methane. I have worked in all the main petroleum basins in Australasia, SE Asia, Africa, and the North Sea. My expertise covers a wide range of both clastic and carbonate reservoirs. Prior to RISC, I managed PGS Reservoir in Perth. In the UK, I was a key player in ENI’s UK exploration effort and in various groups over eleven years with BP Exploration, largely in the North Sea and West of Shetland. Particular strengths are in the integration of geoscience information, resource volumetrics and risk assessment.
