Nick Ferraiolo Cpc, (He,Him) Email and Phone Number
Nick’s story is one of courage, hope and self-acceptance. After thirty years in Corporate America—making his way from an entry-level manufacturing position to Senior Leader in Supply Chain and Manufacturing—Nick felt called to help organizations and individual leaders learn how to create clarity and move beyond confusion, frustration and overwhelm.Nick found his passion for coaching when he was asked to help an employee whose anger was interfering with the functioning of the workplace. The company brought Nick in as their last effort to help this employee keep his job. Nick coached him to find the root of his insecurities and this employee went from a performance improvement plan to a promotion. Nick’s impulse to use his compassionate, intuitive presence to help others was only further reinforced by his experience of coming out as transgender to his boss, colleagues and staff. When Nick decided to transition, he struggled with his desire to be true to himself in an environment where colleagues made assumptions about him based on his gender identity. This experience of bias, insensitive colleagues and the fear that came from knowing he could lose his job, was a painful time. However, it inspired Nick to want to help create workplaces where people can be seen for who they are, rather than the way other people assume them to be. Nick shares his story to help people understand the challenges a transgender employee faces in the workplace and to inspire others to live true to who they are.In his coaching practice, Nick guides his clients past the beliefs that are holding them back, creating a safe space not only for self-reflection, but exploration, prompting clients to re-engineer those beliefs and reevaluate what is most important to them so they can live more fulfilling lives.Nick provides one-on-one coaching services to individuals, customized leadership workshops for companies, and diversity training for HR departments. Nick is the owner of Elm City Coaching; he is a Certified Professional Coach and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. Nick lives in Southwestern New Hampshire with his dog, Jackson.Nick received his Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from an accredited coaching school, iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching).
