National Grid is a global FTSE 30 utility based in London, operating in the UK and US, with revenue in excess of £15bnResponsible for all elements of Financial Reporting including:- monthly consolidation of results and presentation to the Board;- liaising with Global finance teams on Group performance and technical accounting matters;- preparation of half year and year end reporting requirements including the Annual Report, reporting to the Audit Committee;- working with Investor Relations on external reporting requirements;- involvement of reporting requirements for our US listing - working with Tax and Treasury on various ad hoc projects;

Senior Manager in the Audit practice, running a variety of large Corporate and FTSE100 audits while also running an audit department of 85 people. The role required management of large teams, strong project management and detailed knowlegde of IFRS and listing requirements. Also required good relationship skills with Senior staff management and Board level Executives.The department management roles required strong people management and leadership skills to motivate the audit staff within the department.
