Kyani was a network marketing role that I took on early in high school. This was my first step in the sales world. Everyone looked at this network marketing company as a pyramid scheme and as a distributer of the product I had to show the customers that it was not a scam and that I was selling an amazing product. This was super difficult as a young kid to change adults perspective of the company, but I was able to accomplish this and make a decent income, for a high schooler in network marketing that was unheard of. I also did receive a lot of lash back from people I was trying to sell to. However I didn't let that discourage me and I kept pushing through and making more calls.

While working at Catania I learned the meaning of discipline and hard work. I received a measly $3.50 an hour with very little tips. I would do tasks that no other employee would take, for example cleaning the grease traps. This would take a couple hours to accomplish and I wouldn't even have $10 to take home by the end of my shift.
