While at Farnsworth Group, I have primarily worked on horizontal directional drilling (HDD) rigs for the installation of pipeline. This role is crucial for communication between the operator and the contractors. Duties include tracking the drill bit during pilot hole to ensure it is within the design tolerances, field calculating the pipe stress during pullback, and coordination between the operator, contractors, surveyors, engineers, and inspectors while on site. I have worked on HDDs in Weld County, CO, Southern Iowa, Waco, Chicago, and Houston. I have also created my own programs to track the vertical and horizontal curvatures of the HDD.I have worked on the closeout of pipeline projects, which includes the creation of As-Built alignment sheets and linefill tables. In the linefill tables, I provide the location of all welds, pipe heat numbers and characteristics, bend characteristics, foreign crossings (lines, water ways, roads, etc.), and all pipe fitting characteristics (flanges, valves, tees, etc.).In addition to the above, I have also assisted in pipeline design, including routing options and HDD design. For route design, I have analyzed factors such as foreign lines in the area, environmental impact, footage and economic feasibility, and constructability. I have also created a program that calculates and displays an HDD profile given certain design criteria.

Working in Business Management, I analyzed business rates to estimate profits for the different companies Freedom shipped for. I conducted research on two technologies, trailer skirts and truck APUs, that were being considered for economic improvements. In July 2015, I integrated the company onto Microsoft Excel and trained the staff. I built automated payrolls and company tax documents for easy documentation and to eliminate time. I also established a system and procedure for the storage of company records (work-orders) on a cloud that could be accessed by the management anywhere. I established procedures for the removal of scrap metal, mainly refrigeration units, to maximize profits.

As a mechanic, I was in charge of tire rotations and storage. I assisted in other tasks and served as a handy man for the head mechanic.
