A number of our ex-writers have gained positions with high profile companies like MTV Australia, Triple J and influential marketing agencies.Sticky Trigger resumed its relationship of supplying Gametraders Live Magazine with reviews, though we began to work closer with Gametraders to supply content more in tune with what their social media followers would want.I also planned and executed a 72-hour Twitch stream marathon that raised over $5500 for Camp Quality. Sticky Trigger and I were both featured on the front page of Twitch, as well as a number of features in the Newcastle Herald, NBN News, radio stations and more.Noticing a decline in the popularity of websites offering predominantly written content, I initiated a shift in Sticky Trigger's content to include smaller, more focused written reviews, as well as video features, including reviews, previews, opinion pieces, news roundups, discussions and more social-driven content. This change in content has allowed Sticky Trigger to dramatically increase its social reach and interactivity with its fanbase. After 5 years as editor of Sticky Trigger, I'm ready to move on to a new and exciting project, as well as freelance writing and content creation for other websites/companies. I was frequently asked for my opinions of anime and games which led to me creating a blog to review them as well as provide opinions on developments in the entertainment industry.I was responsible for the introduction of a number of things at JB Hi-Fi that I consider special achievements. During my time there I attended several game preview events for EA Games, Microsoft, Activision and more. I also worked with the Games team at JB Hi-Fi's head office to create and introduce JB Hi-Fi's "pre-loved" games system, my store being the trial store for selling second-hand games.I also came up with the idea of a Guitar Hero Tournament for the launch of Guitar Hero III, which was a huge success. After that event JB Hi-Fi began demoing the game in shopping centers and other promotional events. I was also responsible for the visual marketing of the PS3 upon its release, coming up with the signage and shelving for the console. Show less
