Nick is a founding partner of Clifford Street, a boutique investment firm working alongside Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices and Asset Managers. Nick started in the London market 30 years ago after leaving the Royal Navy, creating, developing and raising funds for regulated platforms, companies, funds and distribution channels across London market, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Bermuda, the US and in Europe, often focussed on dislocated business opportunities. Nick has developed extensive network of family office, endowment fund, pension fund and sovereign wealth fund investors often focused on life and non life insurance opportunities. Nick has worked both as a broker and a risk owner in Global Markets with extensive Board and regulatory experience across multiple jurisdictions and risk classes. Nick has proven experience both with the capital markets, regulated start-up risk retention vehicles and insurance markets and is a proven starter-finisher with significant third-party capital support.
