CurrentI concentrate my practice on complex commercial litigation matters related to securities litigation, government investigations and class action defense. I primarily represent private equity firms and their portfolio companies, venture capital firms, real estate companies, and their directors and officers in class action shareholder litigation, derivative litigation, mergers and acquisitions litigation, and corporate internal investigations. I am the Vice-Chairman of our firm's Litigation Department and chair of our Private Equity Litigation Practice Group. I have been named a Michigan Super Lawyer for the past six years and a Rising Star prior to that. I have been selected as a Crain's 40 under 40 winner and a member of L. Brooks Patterson's Elite 40 under 40 for Oakland County. I serve as our firm's hiring partner, and formerly as the chair of its pro bono department.
