•Coordinated and managed implementation activities from the North Yukon regional land use plan;•Served as the EMR representative at Joint Planning Committee meetings for the Whitehorse/Southern Lakes Forest Resource Management Plan, which included working collaboratively with Forest Management Branch, Environment, Carcross/Tagish and Kwanlin Dün First Nations, Ta’an Kwäch'än Council and the Lake Laberge Renewable Resources Council;•Reviewed/analyzed/interpreted several chapters of the Umbrella Final Agreement and First Nations Final Agreements to determine agreed upon planning processes and co-management requirements;•Authored briefing notes, memos and options packages;•Reviewed the Yukon Governments relationship with other Governments and organizations as they relate to land use planning initiatives;•Coordinated interdepartmental information gathering strategy to facilitate regional land use planning.

- Researched best practices in land use planning in Canada and other countries.- Organized, lead and facilitated workshops aimed at educating and understanding stakeholder’s concerns about regional land use planning in the Yukon in an effort to improve the process.- Completed conformity checks on project proposals to determine impacts of the projects and if necessary made recommendations to mitigate negative effects and assisted clients in developing projects that were consistent with regional plans.- Conducted major research project that focused on the Peel Watershed planning process through gathering information from Planning Commission members, First Nation and Territorial government representatives and through a literature review for the purposes of making recommendations to improve the current land use planning process in the Yukon.

- Developed proposal for a review of the regional planning process in the Yukon that included a detailed timeline, work plan, project deliverables, methodology and budget;- Worked closely with Supervisor throughout the contract to prioritize tasks and ensure resources were allocated effectively to finalize deliverables on time and within the allocated budget;- Conducted jurisdictional review of regional planning processes across Canada to determine best practices, environmental and resource management laws and policies that could be applied to the Yukon’s regional planning process;- Provided expert advice to consulting team and clients on land use planning policies, legislation and practices;- Designed a culturally appropriate, multiparty dispute resolution mechanism that promotes open communication, clearly framing the issues, discussing interests and developing options for mutual gain;- Worked with associates on our consulting team to make 51 recommendations aimed at improving the current regional planning process in the Yukon;- Developed public consultation process and schedule for the Common Land Use Planning Process review committee to follow.

- Collected biotic specimens and conducted hydrological studies in the field with the purpose of generating comprehensive reports for a hydro electric company.- Consulted with community members who had concerns regarding the hydro electrical project.- Researched biodiversity, geography and topography of the Hemlock Valley watershed.
