Greetings! I am a communications professional and independent writer based in the Seattle area. Born and raised in California and Arizona, I have a master's degree in Philosophy from San Diego State University and a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego.Professionally, my experience is spread across communications and crisis management, particularly in the technology sector supporting cloud computing solutions. I have overseen the development of international crisis communications teams, served as a ghostwriter for senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies, and produced creative microcopy for clients' social media channels.Personally, I'm still very active in the field of Philosophy. As a graduate student, my area of expertise was in Ancient Greek philosophy and classical antiquity, culminating in my work "Epicurean Theory of Mind". My recent work in Philosophy has focused on anarchism, hedonism, and other ideas in ancient philosophy (see my publications "A Brief Explanation of Anarchism" and "Hedonism in Ancient India and Greece"). Other areas of interest include existentialism, philosophy of mind, and the nature of reality.When I'm not working or buried in a philosophy text, I can usually be found indulging in a movie (at home or at the cinema), playing around on my computer, exploring Seattle for new restaurants to try, or enjoying a sci-fi short story. I also travel quite a bit, mostly throughout the US and Canada.
