After leaving full time education, I embarked on challenging roles in a variety of fields. Initially trained to fault find and repair electronic office equipment (in workshop and field), later began an apprenticeship with a well established security company in London. While the company offered services in all aspects of physical security; Metalwork, Alarms, Access Control, Locks and Safes. I eventually carved my own path to the present, working primarily as a Safe & Vault Engineer, which involves using many, if not all of the skills learned previously. Finding solutions to problems and overcoming them (often with novel methods) is part of my daily routine. The side step into aerospace happened after the loss of AF447 in 2009; a problem presented itself, research followed and within a few months, patents filed and prototypes began to be tested. Pitot Guardian air data anomaly detection tech has now been proven and robustly tested to operate and report Pitot and static blockages in all flight modes from parked on the ramp to cruise. The core I.P. is not limited to aircraft applications, with potential uses being any industry requiring rock solid fluid flow measurements at all times. Processes can be halted where incorrect fluid flow data is being delivered to control systems.
