Clerk to the Hon. Wendy Potts at the 6th Circuit Court of Oakland County. Judge Potts' is one of two Business Court Judges currently in Oakland County handling matters involving business litigation in the area of 25,000 dollars or more. The Oakland County 6th Circuit Court also handles felonious criminal cases ranging from retail fraud and drug crimes to 1st degree murder.It is a pleasure and honor to be back at the Oakland County Courthouse to work under such a highly reputable judge.

Manage a caseload of over 70 Legally Incapacitated individuals through guardianships and conservatorships. My duties include managing each of their doctor's appointments, managing all of their finances, coordinating treatment plans with governmental case management specialists, assisting two senior-partners in probate law, writing petitions and litigation pleadings and working hand-in-hand with the probate court to ensure accuracy and solve problems. The position held prior to promotion to Legal Assistant was assisting the paralegal in Decedent Estates/Trust Administration. This position is full-time and requires definite attention to detail, as these wards depend on me to manage their lives.

Worked alongside the staff attorney to provide essential assistance to the Judge. Chambers of 4 other experienced legal attorneys, clerks, and secretaries. As an intern I followed up on deficient fiduciaries. Compiled reports as to the ward's whereabouts and well-being. Prepared files for trials, including summarizing the file and recommending judge's rulings. Worked on reducing a suspended fiduciary list from 378 to nearly nothing by contacting each one and helping them through the process of reinstatement. Commended by the judge for exceeded the previous interns, of which were 3rd to 4th year law school students.

Led a team of 4-5 alongside trained Master Chefs to provide full-service Food and Beverage options for the Swim and Tennis Clubhouse. This included coordinating multi-club Swim and Tennis Meet events with leadership, conducting special events for member services, as well as managing inventory and all POS reporting to Manager and Executive Chef.

Worked with the Social Research and Statistics professor to provide students with the skills necessary to complete capstone course degree requirements. Held 2, 3-hour block sessions of 10-35 students each week to answer questions and explain theories and methods. Held 1-hour, private sessions with students who required additional tutoring. Conducted lectures and exam guide review courses when the professor was traveling. Selected by the CMU College of Social and Behavioral Sciences to present my research to the Undergraduate Research Conference at Butler University.
