I am an Emergency Nurse at heart, but have transitioned to the Healthcare IT area over the past 9 years. I have experience in Administration of Emergency Department, Flight Nursing and Electronic Health Records. I am currently the Director of Clinical Informatics utilizing the Meditech EHR. I am a member of the Meditech Nurse Advisory Council and was a past member of the Kentucky Board of Nursing.As the Director of Informatics at a rural hospital, I am directly involved in most modules in our previous version of 6.1 and our new implemented version of Expanse. My team supports all Nursing, Physician and ancillary users including onboarding, training, building modules, building toolkits and daily support of ongoing troubleshooting with the Expanse system. We work directly with Providers and Nursing on a daily basis, as well as interactions with Meditech and their support team.
