My primary responsibility is to fulfill the needs of the customers (largely made up of patients, doctors and their support staff) over the phone, via fax, in person and by way of computer workstation applications. The various duties include data entry, quality control of patient accounts and documents, interoffice/customer communication and prioritizing jobs by medical urgency and/or date of patient appointment. Demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail as the patients welfare many times depend on it. Have the capacity to be adept in a variety of software applications. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations when dealing with patient’s sensitive personal information and medical records. Complete tasks within the time the physician needs and to problem solve when the inevitable issues, technical or otherwise, occur.

Very similar to what I'm doing currently except dealt primarily with the ENT (ear, nose and throat) division rather than the more diverse specialties of the Oregon Clinic.
