Responsible for budgeting and delivery of projects while working closely with the client and cross-functional teams. Role included cost benefit modelling against the client’s business model. Developed an adaptable cost-benefit analysis toolset in Excel VBA that enabled the client to tactically invest R&D capital in new technology across the global fleet.  Delivered and presented five credible reports that met the project/client requirements focusing on the commercial and technical aspects. Reports include strategic investigations into hydrogen, battery systems, solar and biofuel technologies. Part of the lead team that presented at a global conference looking at the potential future strategies to meet EU Heavy-Duty CO2 targets in 2025 and 2030. Competitive 2-year graduate program that involved 4 rotations in Engine Performance Development, Supplier Quality Assurance, Test Operations and Commercial Sector business units. These included roles in delivering vehicle benchmarking / testing programs, market research projects and commercial proposals. Responsibilities include working with the chief engineer to manage programs, running test facilities, performing in-depth test and market data analysis as well as budgeting projects. Lead project team that delivered and presented three credible benchmarking reports to two global clients. This was the first project team to run three vehicle benchmarking programs in parallel. Each report was used to help develop future models for the client. Delivered a large market research project on alternative/renewable fuels and technologies focusing several international markets. The report was used by a global drinks manufacturer to help guide their future logistic strategy within North America, Latin America, Europe and Africa. Wrote a project proposal and budget for a novel motor design that resulted in a multi-year contract. Worked with the relevant engineering teams to develop the project scope and budget and timing plan that met client requirements while ensuring the project would turn a profit.
