Headhunted by Godfrey Syrett based on MOD contacts recommendation.First year in this role achieved £1.65m against a target of £1.2 million.The second year target set at £2.7m was inclusive of a £700k order secured with debut services to supply all furniture to 8 Naval and Marine accommodation blocks spread across the south west of England.Responsible for a sizeable area ranging from the Essex borders to Lands End up to and including Gloucestershire.The role involved site visits and site meetings with both clients and clients facilities management teams, also attending meetings with prime contractors working on behalf of the MOD for the design and specification of the product they require.Liaising with clients and internal personnel to rectify issues with install or product thus giving the client a central point of contact at all times.Reporting to the MOD Contract Director in the form of a monthly forecast and weekly call reports.

Ran a department of 5 Project Managers covering the UK and 3 administrative assistants within a group of companies with 200 employees and a turnover of £52 million a year.Personally ran high profile projects such as furnishing MP offices at Caxton House in Westminster, the DWP at the Adelphi, Met police building Empress State fit out, British Airways terminal 5 along with many high profile MOD establishments such as Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, new and old college fit outs in brand new and Grade 1 listed buildings. Monthly meetings with the project team in order to maintain control of the needs of the team and the requirements of internal admin support staff. Managers were spread across the country and those that could not make it to head office conference called in to allow them to share any new information with their colleaguesSelecting which contractors were to be used on projects across the country based on cost and availability, this to enable maximum company profits in all areas.Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure product availability and timescales for project completion. Dealing with complaints and resolving issues escalated by project managers or admin support, ranging from end user to Managing Director level. Check meeting reports and monthly expenses, allocating projects, authorising annual leave whilst maintaining project coverage around the country at all times.Meeting monthly with group CEO and sales team to work through new and demanding group company procedure and contracts.Reporting directly to the Managing Director.
