Hi! My name is Nick Hedrick, I am glad that you have found your way to my page and are interested enough to read a summary of me! I studied at Danville Community College for two years and received an associate in mobile games and apps development. After I graduated, I went to work for a company called GCAPS located at the Virginia International Raceway. While I worked there, I built virtual environments in a program called RoadRunner. These virtual environments were for simulating vehicle situations based on events that happened in the real world. The goal of the project was to teach self driving vehicles how to deal with accident related events. I also would check the quality of the environments that the other members of my team created before the environment was sent to the next step in the process. When Covid hit the world, I went back to college to focus on graphic design. I have been studying at Virginia Western Community College for the past two years. where, I have been learning the fundamentals of design, art history, Adobe programs, and video editing. I have also been learning networking and computer hardware as computers were something I grew up around and wanted to deepen my knowledge of them.Thank you for taking the time to read this summary of my experiences.
