From a simple start in a local writing group where we helped each with creative writing, to being the chief proofreader for a multinational marketing firm and correcting all manner of copywriting, I've walked a very strange journey. But through it all, there has been the singular purpose of improving the written word.Since finding this calling, I have worked on a few books in indie publishing, one of which won a British Fantasy Society award, and several corporate whitepapers.I can edit and proofread in both UK and US English, on screen or hard copy.In my spare time, I attend various writing events in person and virtually to host writing workshops. In these workshops, I invite writers to tell me about their projects and I give them notes live on how to push their writing forward and increase their chances of capturing an audience.
