Multimedia journalist with a passion for every aspect of reporting- broadcast, written, and otherwise. I recently graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors in Journalism- News and Information, with a specialization in Sports Management and Philosophy. Volunteered at WOUB-TV Public Media for all four years of my college career, and interned with Ohio University's Communications and Marketing department writing for OHIO News and Ohio Today. Avid sports fan who is passionate about storytelling in the sports world (and beyond!).While working at WOUB, I applied myself to WOUB’s Sports Department covering Ohio University Athletics, as well as working on different student-produced TV programs like “Gridiron Glory” and “Hardwood Heroes,” all of which entailed producing in-depth multi-media content while traveling around the state and into neighboring states as well. I enjoyed my time as a reporter, and also gained experience as an executive, serving as Gridiron Glory Season 21's Written Content Director and Hardwood Heroes Season 11's Social Media Coordinator.Another source of great pride for me came this past year as WOUB had to shut its doors temporarily due to the pandemic. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, myself and a handful of my peers decided to launch our own independent sports outlet called 740 Zone. We navigated through the new sports landscape to cover high school football within the 740 area code, producing a weekly program on YouTube from scratch.I understand there is always more to learn and am always looking for new opportunities to grow as a journalist and as a professional.
