Customer support and administration of 150 users, a combination of laptops, All-In-One workstations, printers, satellite communications, surveillance camera system, Avaya IPO phone switch, Integrated Voice Communication Systems, and Secure Video Teleconferencing.• Took action to identify and remedy an unsecured folder structure that permitted access to Personally Identifiable Information. Increased security of divisional and personnel information that was otherwise open to all members. • Facilitated the development and promulgation of an engineering change to the camera system that effected every National Security Cutter in the Coast Guard. Led junior personnel in the development of engineering change documentation and assisted them with bringing their idea to reality. Effectively increased longevity of camera mounts 100-fold. • Foster a cross-functional and inclusive work environment. Encourage personnel advancement and provide timely recognition of positive and negative performance. Submitted two personnel for Sailor-of-the-Quarter. Team members achieved superior advancement tests scores in 2020 and 2021.

• Improved accuracy and contract award timelines by conducting Q&A for 500+ contracting packages from six senior government employees. Dedicated efforts led to the timely award of multiple contracts supporting six IT Service Lines and 27 critical Cyber and IT services totaling $165M/year. • Performed duties as Contracting Officer Representative III for 15+ task orders and realized $7.8M in annual cost avoidance by spearheading the award of a SQL database consolidation task order. • Led and coordinated geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams during the installation of Unclassified and Classified IT assets onboard four of the Coast Guard’s National Security Cutter(s). Negotiated available resources to meet project deadline(s) and prioritized funds allocation to mitigate delays in hardware delivery. • Reduced lifecycle costs by $1200 per Coast Guard Cutter while leading the operating system and hardware upgrade for 750 shipboard servers to achieve Cyber Security requirements. Repurposed over $90k in legacy IT equipment to training facilities and local units, replacing outdated hardware. • Identified knowledge gaps in training and onboarding of new personnel and created a multi-year IT training progression program that bridged those gaps and reduced newcomer familiarization time by 75%. Facilitated contract development training for division and coordinated $500K in commercial training for over 500 Coast Guard members nationwide.• Reduced Process Lead Time (PLT) by 37% and was recognized by the U.S. Army Lean Excellence Program for contributing efforts during a Lean Six Sigma certification project to reduce PLT within the Department of Defense-Human Systems Integration Directorate. Coordinated process mapping and statistical analysis from locations around the world. The six-person multi-agency team contributed efforts that resulted in a cost avoidance of $2.9M in FY16.

• Served as lead instructor of the Nortel CS1000e Telephony Systems module within IT vocational school. Supervised military and civilian instructors. Mentored and trained 1500+ personnel and increased student success by assisting students after hours and before class times. Nominated for Sailor-of-the-Quarter three times.• Led the development of the IT School Capstone Course and Installation project; set scope, budget, and project timeline. Utilized student and instructor resources to assist with the installation of real-life IT infrastructure to include shipboard communications. Created scenario-based troubleshooting exercises to enhance student abilities. • Developed formal advancement testing for over 400 Coast Guard enlisted IT personnel. Communicated shortfalls in advancement qualifications that resulted in the reallocation of said requirements, saving units thousands of dollars annually.• Authored course documentation and facilitated class instruction that created the first-ever onboarding program, impacting 100+ personnel per year. • Served as a Coast Guard Drill Instructor- Successfully trained, mentored, motivated, and graduated 1100+ Coast Guard recruits. Maintained very high standards and consistently led recruits to exceed the basic standards required for graduation.• Facilitated over 100 honors and ceremonies including multi-service funerals, firing parties, community events, and professional sporting events. Presented 20 American Flags to Next of Kin at funerals across the country. Member of a Presidential Inauguration Parade and a funeral for a former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Trained over 500 Coast Guard personnel in ceremonies, silent drill, Color Guards, and parades.
