Seconded to Cunard Head Office to oversee fleet compliance with corporate environmental and sustainability targets and the development and execution of guest experience projects across the brand.Working with other brands within the Carnival Corporation, I ensured the Cunard Hotel department was compliant in its environmental ambitions and responsibilities, including the reduction of food waste volume, waste management, single use plastic reduction initiatives and overall sustainability in hotel operations. I was also responsible for leading and contributing to a number of future change programmes and initiatives (both people and business-related) and improvements, e.g. New Build changes, Environmental Compliance Plan implementation, Manning models, Product and Technology change.In collaboration with the Senior Finance Manager, revised operating procedures and created SOPs to manage the risk presented to company assets and inventory during the recent de-manning process.

Senior member of the central hotel team, working across a large fleet of cruise ships managing financial reconciliation, revenue, cost and stock inventories for up to 26 F&B venues each voyage. Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, auditing, investigating and resolving financial and inventory discrepancies, producing Management Information (MI) and forecasting and monitoring budgets. Leading a team of 30 to turnaround a venue that was underperforming financially, operationally and had a damaged customer reputation, I analysed and prioritised every aspect of the operation including food safety, waste, staff training and product improvement, and worked with the team to agree stretching targets.
