• Assist and support the development, implementation, recording and review of the Safety Management System and its procedures and tools• Conduct, document and report on inspections and audits, plant risk assessments and Management of Change processes.• Maintain consultation, communication and engagement with HSR's, whilst monitoring and reporting on overall employee engagement in safety and training activities.• Prepare toolbox material, agendas, taking and circulating meeting… Show more • Assist and support the development, implementation, recording and review of the Safety Management System and its procedures and tools• Conduct, document and report on inspections and audits, plant risk assessments and Management of Change processes.• Maintain consultation, communication and engagement with HSR's, whilst monitoring and reporting on overall employee engagement in safety and training activities.• Prepare toolbox material, agendas, taking and circulating meeting minutes and records, deliver OSH information and training, including induction materials. • Conduct incident investigations, prepare reports and appropriate corrective and preventive actions and monitor effectiveness of controls.• Undertaking regular training needs analysis to ensure skills on site match operational requirements• Collaborating with site management, mapping out competency-based training plans • Maintaining a training calendar outlining proposed courses• Assisting in the coordination and delivery of the induction process and conducting area familiarisations as required• Developing, implementing and facilitating learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training and on-the-job coaching• Assisting in the design and application of standardised assessment tools to measure training effectiveness• Coordinating bookings and logistics of on-site and off-site training activities including venues and equipment• Producing reports outlining training delivered, upcoming programs, changes in legislative requirements and comment on opportunities for improvement.• Provide advice, interpretation and guidance to operational management on statutory requirements and best practice developments within WHSE• Proactively involved in supporting our Workers Compensation and Injury Management team and effective injury management • Promote a continuous improvement and enhancement of a Zero Harm culture Show less
